Rosário Martins is guest editor of the special issue "Cyanobacteria, Microalgae, and Fungi: Biotechnology and Toxicology" edited by Microorganisms (Impact Factor 4.152).
This special issue aims at the biotechnological and toxicological aspects of cyanobacteria, microalgae and fungi, including in particular the relationship between toxins and potential pharmacological applications and the sustainable production of these organisms for industrial purposes.
This special issue is part of the GreenHealth project in which Politécnico do Porto is a partner through the application of fungi in the field of cosmeceutics, nutraceuticals and pharmacology.
