From 21 to 24 March, Porto School Factory received 10.º and 11.º grade students to the PDF Spring Bootcamp programme. This year's edition included the opening of Startup courses in 96 hours, Science of Doing and PDF Botcamp - entrepreneurship; rapid prototyping; and robotics, electronics, and computers.
The beginning of the Multimedia seminars of the School of Music and Performing Arts took place at the Porto Design Factory, on the18 February 2016.To the first session Professor Soraia Ferreira was invited and the talk covered the topic "Transmedia Storytelling".
For two days, Portuguese and Brazilian researchers reflected upon identities, typologies, mission and objectives of the Museums and Interpretation Centers in higher education; upon cultural programming, artistic residencies and exhibitions; upon Collections and Special Collections - with the intention to preserve, safeguard, educate, communicate and promote - as a way to involve the key players of this transversal universe, in articulation with the surrounding communities.
