Following a strategic plan of research development, supported by regional funds, PORTIC is looking for 2 full-time research scientists, in the area of Health Technologies. The selected researchers will contribute and drive research within a broad strategic plan including, but not restricted to, topics of:
Area: Health technologies
- Digital health and telehealth
- IoT for smart healthcare
- Sensor technology
- Smart and personal devices
Candidates should have a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, or similar, a publication record and preferably with experience in research projects.
The selected researchers are expected to proactively collaborate in the definition and implementation of the research area strategy, promote and drive research activities leading to a strong publication effort, and lead research funding proposals.
